Best time to visit Uganda
Uganda is a year-round destination
The best time to visit Uganda is generally during the dry seasons (June to August and December to February), when conditions are ideal for wildlife safaris and gorilla trekking, as trails are more accessible and animals gather around water sources.
However, thanks to its tropical climate, it's a great destination year-round, with the seasons being not very strict. Even during the rainy seasons (March - May and September - November), you can still enjoy birdwatching, lush landscapes, and fewer tourists - just be prepared for occasional showers.
No matter when you visit, it’s best to come prepared for a mix of sun and rain, and you’ll be rewarded with unforgettable experiences.
